Hello and welcome to Jo Frost Flowers.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself...
Before working with flowers I worked in print design for fashion, completing my Masters in Textile Design at the Royal College of Art. Flowers and botany have always played a huge part in my design process and after further development as a textile designer, I discovered a keen interest in floristry and a curiosity to explore the similarities between the two disciplines - working with colour, shape, composition and texture.
My journey as a florist began in 2013 when I joined a leading florist in North West London. I effectively 'learnt on the job' working on bouquets, weddings and large installations for reputable clients. The transition between textiles and floristry was a natural progression and I have never looked back.
I decided to re-locate to my hometown, Eastbourne, East Sussex in 2016 and that was when 'Jo Frost Flowers' was born. I now provide a bespoke floral design service for weddings and events across East Sussex and beyond (no distance is too far!) I approach each event as a fresh brief, relishing new challenges. Dedicating time to research and utilising my experience with colour and pattern enables me to offer a unique and thorough service. I particularly enjoy working with the floral seasons and sourcing British, seasonal blooms when available.
If you would like to discuss flowers for your wedding or special event then do get in touch. In the meantime please enjoy looking through my portfolio. You can also see what I've been up to on my Instagram and Facebook accounts - links below.
