“Creativity takes courage”

Henri Matisse

Before working with flowers I worked in print design for fashion, completing my Masters in Textile Design at the Royal College of Art. My textile design work previously drew inspiration from flowers and botany, encouraging a keen interest in floristry and a curiosity to explore the similarities between the two disciplines. Colour, composition and texture are the foundations of both textile design and floristry.

My career as a florist began when I joined a leading florist in North West London where I effectively 'learnt on the job', making flowers for a range of events and reputable clients. My skills developed over the course of 3 and half years with so many beautiful flowers at my fingertips!

I have always been ambitious and in 2016 I decided to return to my hometown of Eastbourne to start up Jo Frost Flowers. Since then I have been working from my private studio space near The Old Town in Eastbourne. I design, create and deliver wedding flowers across the South East of England (or further on request!). I host classes in my studio space throughout the year and provide a local bouquet delivery service for main calendar events, such as Mother’s Day. Please see News and Events or my Instagram account for regular updates.

I love to embrace the seasons and particularly enjoy experimenting with natural shape in floral arrangements. By dedicating time to research and utilising my experience with colour and pattern, I aim to offer a unique service, driven by my passion for art, design and of course, flowers!

If you would like to discuss flowers for your wedding or special event then please do get in touch . I would love to hear from you!

Thank you for visiting.
